We loved our food! Location is awesome as it’s right by the Westminister Abbey area. We stopped in on our way to Buckingham Palace, and we loved our time! Leti, our waitress, was so sweet and accommodating. Great, new place!

Got the breakfast, it's good. Great atmosphere and very friendly service too - albeit it's a bit on the pricey side. They have an allergen menu and are very knowledgeable and helpful about the contents of the food, even with gluten free options

I would say this is a very conveniently located restaurant but kind of being missed out as it's on a side street. According to the waitress, it's busy during lunch though. I came around early evening which was pretty quiet. Love the decor with a lot of paintings hung all over the place. So if you need to take a rest for your legs after a long day and have some peace of mind, this is a nice place. Regarding the food, i had the prawn toast which was nice. But the sirloin steak was bit too hard even though i ordered medium rare and the sauce accompanied the steak was quite a small portion. However the servers were very friendly. And the vegetables were really tasty. They're very nice and accommodating to replace the chips with broccoli for me. Also, the wine list is extensive. Would be back again.

Delicious lunch today. Recommend sitting up at the bar if you have a chance. The goats cheese salad is a great side salad to share. Had the salmon with tomatoes and a delicious dill and almond dressing, the skin was perfectly crispy and the salmon tender and cooked really well. My friend had the fish and chips. Great spot for all day dining near Big Ben and Parliament so perfect to drop in after some sightseeing. Service was excellent. Highly recommend

I highly recommend not missing their desserts at this establishment. My friend and I indulged in their superb strawberry and Pimm's trifle, and also devoured a delightful chocolate hazelnut cake. We found the cafe to be extremely cozy and charming with a great atmosphere, excellent quality food, reasonable pricing, and friendly service. In my opinion, it's exactly what the area needs on weekends and it's conveniently situated within walking distance of St. James' Park.

All day Brasserie for light lunch or formal dinners. - Decor: Newly designed with classic regal decor and comfy furnishings. Ambience was relaxing, with good choice of lighting and music. If coming for dinner, you must dress up to fit in with the beautiful decor. - Food: Dishes are arranged very aesthetically pleasing, portion sizes are small and light so definitely worth having 2 or 3 courses to fill up properly. Price is medium to high. For example, our 3 course meal for 2 people with 2 drinks each and no dessert totalled almost £100. Otherwise, great lunch options from hot classic meals to lighter sandwiches - perfect if you're in a rush. All meals we had were full of flavour - kudos to the chef team. - Allergies: No vegan dishes and no vegan desserts. Not able to modify dishes with alternative allergy free ingredients. - Service: Very attentive and warm service from all the staff, someone came by regularly to make sure we were ok or needed extra drinks. Overall, lovely spot for work meetings or dinner with friends. ☆ Service: 4/5 ☆ Food: 3/5 ☆ Hygiene: 4/5 ☆ Ambience: 4/5 ☆ Decor: 5/5

Well what a place this really is. Huge shout out to Charlie and Julian, this was not a straightforward meal and frankly the person I was with complained about the steak 🥩 even though they ate it all. Apparently it “just didn’t sing”. I didn’t try it but they ate it all so… Yeah Moving on, the starters were great. There was cod’s roe as a snack which I wasn’t going to let pass me by. I had a matcha to drink which was great and two carb free courses. Charlie was one of the best waiters I have ever been served by and so was Julian and I never say that. Julian made me a special drink - earl grey and tonic. It was really brilliant- thank you. Genius. I had the cauliflower main and again it was great, different but something I would replicate at home. Those kinda recipes are hard to come by. The cocktail menu was the most exciting I’ve seen for a very long time and back then, it definitely wasn’t as exciting as this. Hopefully you’ll go here and all being well I’ll catch you coz imma take everyone I know here. That’s not even a joke. Thank you Old Queen Street Cafe - I’ll remember you forever

Everything is Above the mind. Despite being on a side street, I think this eatery is really conveniently positioned yet sometimes gets overlooked. However, the waitress says that lunchtime is bustling. It was quite quiet when I arrived in the early evening. I adore the décor, which is filled to the brim with artworks. Therefore this is a good spot to enjoy some peace of mind and rest your legs after a long day. In terms of the meal, I enjoyed the prawn toast. However, even though I ordered medium rare, the sirloin steak was a little too tough, and there wasn't much sauce to go with it. The waitresses were quite amiable, though. Additionally, the veggies had a great flavor. They're really kind and willing to swap out the chips for broccoli for me. The wine list is broad as well. would return eventually.
